Repair or replace?

If the panels are sound and the problem is a spring, cable or opener, repair is almost always the better value, and we'll say so. Replacement makes sense when several panels are damaged, the door is uninsulated and the garage is attached, or the hardware is worn past the point where one repair fixes it.
